All Events Postponed

Sorry Chess Players, we are stuck. As COVID-19 spreads through our community we are taking measures to halt it's progress. Just like chess it doesn't have any care for race, creed, religion or disability. US Chess has postponed or cancelled all National Tournaments. We are cancelling the K-12 Open at this point and postponing all others until the all clear is given. We are working on an invitational for the Iowa State Girls Championship to select a representative to the Ruth Haring Girls Invitational Tournament. We are also planning for the Closed, but just the closed, as it would be a gathering of less than 10 people providing everyone is healthy and willing to compete.
