Tomorrow Kicks off the 2019-2020 Iowa Closed Qualification Cycle at Coe College in Cedar Rapids

Tomorrow April 20th, The Coe College Chess Club is sponsoring the first qualifier of the year. With Arshaq Saleem coming off of his victorious 2018-2109 undisputed title, he needs only attend two events. Arshaq doesn't even need to win a single game to get back in. I am sure this will not be the case but it does give him time to concentrate on his studies.

Athena Aguiar the president of the Coe College Chess Club is exited to host this event and get her club more involved with US Rated Chess.
