GM Fidel Corrales Jimenez to give lecture on Jan 31 in Iowa City, Iowa and Feb 1st in Burlington, Io

GM Fidel Corrales Jimenez will be giving two 1 hour lectures in Iowa. The first will be in Iowa City at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Iowa City at 6:30 PM to be followed by a 6 round FIDE rated Blitz chess tournament. G5 d2 entry fee $5 no prizes. (lecture is free).

Then Friday evening he will be giving a lecture at the Evans' Holly Grove Inn Bed and Breakfast 616 Columbia St. in Burlington Iowa at 7pm. Following he will be playing in the 5th Annual Port of Burlington Open on Saturday and Sunday. Birthday Cake will be served.
