2018 CR 2-Day Workshop with FMs Alex Betaneli and Erik Santarius

The Cedar Rapids Chess Club (CRCC) is honored to host the 2018 CRCC Chess Workshop. Presented by Senior USCF Masters Alex Betaneli and Erik Santarius, this two-day workshop is open to players rated USCF 1100 and above or age 13 and older. The workshop runs from 10 am to 4 pm, each day, Saturday and Sunday. Workshop activities will focus on strategy and tactics through individual and group analysis.

The chess workshop will be held at the Hotel at Kirkwood located at 7725 Kirkwood Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. Registration is $99 for the two-day training with a one day (Sat or Sun), $65 option. An evening, 7 round, Game/10 d2 Quick Chess Tournament will be held Saturday at 7 pm. With $200 in prize money, entry is free to chess workshop participants.
