IM Angelo Young is the top seed registered for the Wellsburg Open.  NM Joseph Wan has also announced his intentions of playing in what will be his first tournament since breaking the 2200 mark at the National Junior High Championship in April.  Third seed is currently CM James Neal, fresh from a four-way tie for first at the Okoboji Open.  Neal, at 2181, has only 19 rating points to go before Iowa has another master.
